Chalfont Run bridge construction

PennDOT is replacing the bridge on SR 2152 (Ramp to Lower Rodi Road) over Chalfont Run in Wilkins Township.  The bridge closed Monday, March 9 and work is scheduled to be ongoing through September 17, 2020.

Drivers travelling eastbound on Business 22 (after exiting the Parkway East outbound or coming from Penn Hills) will not be able to take the ramp to Lower Rodi Road.

Update: PennDOT is conducting emergency drainage and roadway restoration on the ramp from the Parkway East outbound to Business Route 22.  Detours are posted, but motorists should continue to Exit 84A (Monroeville/Route 48 South) and then turn right onto Business 22.  Continue through Monroeville and then turn left at Penn Center Blvd.

Emergency construction is slated to continue through Friday, July 10, 2020.
